Rio Aquatics
The Rio Aquatics Institute was born from an initiative of the Behring Foundation and today is an independent organization that transforms the lives of vulnerable young people through the union of sport and education.
Offering free swimming and water polo lessons, academic scholarships, and a strong focus on socioemotional development, Rio Aquatics has already impacted more than 2,000 children and adolescents. The organization also maintains competitive teams with daily training and active participation in official championships.
