This is the Privacy Policy of the Behring Foundation (“Foundation”). It applies to interactions between users of the official website, partners, suppliers, beneficiaries of our social programs and other stakeholders, and the Foundation, through its official website. https://www.fundacaobehring.org ("Portal").

In this Policy, we explain how we handle the personal data (“Data”) that users of the Portal (“You”) provide to us. Data is collected when you voluntarily enter or submit it by filling out the necessary forms to contact us on our Portal, or directly by email.

Furthermore, whenever you access our website(s), make a request, complaint, send a message, or register for any of our services, we are able to collect information that can be used to identify your computer, your browser, or any mobile devices you use to browse the internet. This information is collected through the installation of small text files called "Cookies". Among other functions, when you visit our website(s) again, the previously stored Cookies allow us to recognize your browser.

The Foundation only receives and/or collects the following types of information related to you: (i) personal information to enable communication between you and the Foundation; and (ii) browsing data.

The Foundation stores your Data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as long as we are required to store it under applicable law.

The Data is stored in a secure and controlled environment for a minimum period of 6 (six) months, in accordance with the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet, taking into account the level of technology available.

7. Activity Log

We may record your activities on the Portal, creating, when possible and applicable, logs (records of activities performed on websites, applications, the Portal and services) that will contain: the IP address of the device used, access and actions performed by you on the Portal provided, date and time of each action performed and information about the device used, such as the operating system version, browser and geolocation.

(i) Confirmation of processing, access to your Data and withdrawal of consent: You may request details about the processing and/or a copy of your Data stored by the Foundation, as well as revoke the consent previously given for the processing of the data.

(ii) Modification or correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated Data: If you wish to modify your Data or if you have any reason to believe or suspect that any Data we hold about you is incomplete or incorrect, please contact us.

(iii) We store and make available to you your history of interactions with us: You may contact us, and the Foundation is authorized to contact you by email or telephone. The conversations are stored by the Foundation and we may make them available to you to use their content as evidence in court or in other cases provided for by law.

(iv) Data portability, anonymization and deletion: You may request that your data, provided it has not been permanently anonymized, be migrated to other social organizations. In addition to portability, data may be deleted provided we no longer have a legal basis to keep it in our files.
