Opportunities for Brazilian tech talents

The Behring Scholarship targets Brazilian students accepted into international universities for tech programs such as computer science and engineering, aiming to foster global tech leadership potential.

Columbia University is located in New York, NY (USA). People with permanent residence in Brazil, admitted to undergraduate and master’s degrees in areas of technology at the School of Engineering are eligible for the grants. No additional application is required.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts (USA), and has the best Computer Science school in the USA, according to the ranking of the U.S. News. People with permanent residence in Brazil, admitted for graduation in areas of technology, are eligible for the grants. No additional application is required.

Considered the best university in the world according to the ranking of the U.S. News, Harvard University is located in Cambridge, MA (USA). People with permanent residence in Brazil, admitted to a doctorate in technology areas at SEAS, are eligible for the grants. No additional application is required.

Best University for Bachelor of Computer Science in the US according to U.S. News, Carnegie Mellon University is located in Pittsburgh, PA. People with permanent residence in Brazil, admitted for graduation in the SCS or ECE, are eligible for the grants. No additional application is required.

Tech Fellow is an initiative by Fundação Estudar, with support from the Behring Foundation and partners, to accelerate technology students with high potential in technology at the best universities in the world. The selection process takes place annually and is carried out by the partner organization.

Instituto Semear, in partnership with Fundação Behring, offers financial support and mentoring to low-income young people in their first and second year in technology courses at public universities located in São Paulo, SP. The selection process takes place annually and is carried out by the partner organization.

Considered the best university for graduation in Computer Science in Brazil by Enade, PUC-Rio is located in Rio de Janeiro/RJ. Those approved in the entrance exam for Computer Science are invited to participate in our selection process for scholarships.

Located in São Paulo/SP, Insper is one of the best private colleges in Brazil. The newly created degree in Computer Science, the focus of our grants, was designed in conjunction with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a global reference in engineering and technology. Enrollment for the scholarship program takes place concurrently with the entrance exam.

Founded in 2022 with the purpose of training the next generation of technology leaders in Brazil, Inteli is located in São Paulo/SP. Enrollment for the scholarship program takes place concurrently with the entrance exam, and people approved for any undergraduate course are eligible.
